e913d93ba7A resource read tries each template in turn, and match_uri_template rebuilt the template's regex on every attempt. #5167/#5216 made that rebuild quote and escape each literal character, so a miss went from about 1.3us to 14us and a read that walks 500 templates from about 1ms to 9ms in 4.0.6. build_regex is now cached per template string.
