`tmp/`**`ref-*.xml`**: intermediate, produced from `*.doc.xml`, contains DocBook

`bus/`**`*.bus.xml`**: output of D-Bus introspection

`tmp/`**`*.iface.xml`**: intermediate, simplified `*.doc.xml` and `*.bus.xml`
to leave the common parts for diffing, see `make diff`.
